About the Arseid School Training Bout, you'll fight Klaus
He's strong, he can deal quite some damage, Elegant Thrust is a small AoE if I recall correctly and deal good damage (can 2HKO Jusis with my build) Sonic Wave puts some delay on the hit characters, his regular attack isn't something too threatening
He's resistant to a lot of status, mostly the ones which doesn't make him skip a turn so you'd better focus on stat dropping (you can try having Freeze or Nightmare quartz since doesn't nullify those and can make him skip a turn),
Jusis' Noble Command will help a lot giving you the necessary buffs in terms of stats,
Laura will be using Armor Breaker
Millium is mostly on support and can reduce his attack with Airgetlam's beam but I went with buster arm just for damage
I used Rapid Thrust with Jusis for damage when he had spare turns, it doesn't use lot of CP so let's go with that instead of a regular attack and have a good damage multiplier x)
if you picked Gaius, you could use his Turbulence craft to have a good chance to put Blind on Klaus and deal reasonable damage,
You'd have to use Rean Motivate to buff though, you'll lack the speed buff but you can use Millium with Chrono Drive to give you the speed
if you picked Emma, you could use her Detector to rack some link attacks, she'll be healing the party, buffing it, her Crescent Shell gives arts reflect and 50%DEF (not for her though)
