There is a new passage in Ebel Highway but no new monsters in it,
The monster extermination will require you to explore the "new areas"
This monster extermination is really easy though,
-Phalanx J9, have AoE Attacks consisting of launching missiles or using its machine gun, they deal medium damage, nothing too threatening, other than that, you can easily put some hindering status on it, Nullifying only Petrification, Poison, Deathblows, Sleep Nightmare and Vanish, neutral to anything else so even if you only delay it you'll be good
