The time has come to step into the walls of the new Desert Palace! The vast majority of this dungeon is centred around the Sand Rod since this is basically the only place for quite some time we get any real use out of it, so they went all out this time. Much like with other dungeons in this game so far where they want you to have a particular item coming in and the dungeon focuses heavily on it, it is pretty great! Having an entire dungeon to focus on the different kinds of puzzles something can solve allows for a whole lot more variety than just basing the last half of a dungeon on it.

The Desert Palace also has some lovely atmosphere going on with t in regards to the visuals and the MUSIC. Not much can be said here other than it gives some serious spirit temple vibes from Ocarina of Time... This dungeon is far more focused and compact than that, though. Past me ended up heavily enjoying herself.
