Next stop: Hateno Village, located at the edge of Hyrule and the only place that had been unaffected by the Great Calamity 100 years ago. Wow.
We head there to meet someone who can help provide an upgrade to the Sheikah Slate. But we also got to power up the labs as well by providing blue flame. Not hard right if you have a torch. After you succeed in that, you get to upgrade the Sheikah Slate by giving it the camera upgrade. The camera also gives you access to a compendium as well as 12 special photos. These photos were ones Zelda took 100 years ago before the Great Calamity and they also play a role in restoring Link’s memories.
Afterwards we go to Kakariko Village, meet up with Impa and we get another objective: to restore Link’s memories. But Part 8 is where we have to get on the move.
