Rating for this week’s Episode: 8.5
This week heads into dark territory and trust me it isn’t pretty.
Wally ends up being a punching bag for Savitar, affecting him on both a physical and mental level. You can actually feel bad for Wally since he did got his powers from Savitar but now is being used by him as a means to escape the speed force.
The episode also teaches us an important lesson: Never keep secrets from the people you know.
It’s a dark episode, full of emotion and intensity. Not only that but the threat of Savitar looms over them all and it really doesn’t help that Barry’s insecurities are only contributing to it. Yep. It’s throwing everyone for a loop and it ain’t pretty. There is some action and it’s good but the characters are what make this show good, with chemistry that’s very good.
But now that Savitar’s out, this can be bad for Team Flash. But I wished that Savitar can be done better because I feel he isn’t that threatening. Sure he looks menacing but sorry, unless the guy has some kind of motivation then forget it. But only time will tell.
Next week is Barry journeying into the Speed Force and that’s going to be the least of his worries. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the episode in the comments.
