The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch)
Finale: Leftovers & Wind Fish's Egg
Now it comes to this. We reach the finale.
As you can see, I take care of some leftovers that I forgot to put in due to length. What are they? I'll tell you. I have forgotten two additional Heart Pieces. Not only that but I also took care of a few more chamber dungeons. Bear in mind that they soon get harder with their requirements. Therefore, I took on what I had to do. Oh and the level 3 dungeons are going to be the challenging so if you guys want, I will show an extra video where I cover the remaining dungeons and truly make it feel 100%.
But anyway, we head for the Wind Fish's Egg and play the Ballad of the Wind Fish. This in turn will allow us to enter inside. In the end, we face off against the True Nightmare. It's a multi-phase fight requiring you to use various different techniques to beat it. Some will obviously feel familiar such as when the Nightmare transforms into Agahnim and then Ganon. You guys know that this takes place in the Fallen Hero Timeline, where OoT Link died fighting against Ganon and in turn, Ganon was sealed away setting up A Link to the Past.
Phase 1 requires the Magic Powder. Phase 2 requires you to deflect projectiles back to it. Phase 3 has you dodging fire bats and then he'll throw his trident. Responding by using the Pegasus Boots to dash attack him. Then comes the final phase where you need to use the Roc's Feather to jump over his arm attacks and respond by firing arrows at him.
After defeating it, you head up the stairs and it's here where Link's Awakening ends. Link plays the Ballad once more and the entire island disappears. Depressing, I know but it fits with the Zelda timeline. Not to say it's bad because I really did enjoy Zelda's Awakening. I would like to thank everyone for watching this playthrough. You guys are the best. With this, I can now move onto finishing up other stuff like Oninaki.
