Author's comments: "Thanks to Jiano, Cosmo, ZFG, KlydeStorm, Runnerguy2489, Maxx, SwordlessLink, AKA, RingRush, ZeroGX, Animeowzerz, Manocheese, and probably a lot others that I am forgetting. Special thanks to the SDA team for building such a great site.
I have been doing this run for about 7 months now. It started off as a casual run but I started to get more serious. The route changed quite often but for the better. The run turned out really well. I was only a few minutes behind Runnerguy's Real Time Attack run which skip bombchus, hover boots, and savewarps everywhere which SS cannot do.
So to start off the run... The rupee route went pretty well. No mistakes and I got out of the forest really fast. Hyrule Field the first time went better than expected. My angle was very good for the Water ESS. The first half of cucco collecting went pretty good. The manipulation wasn't perfect but still pretty good. Bottom of the Well went ok. Probably the "worst" part of the run. The Dead Hand fight wasn't very nice. He appeared by the hands each time and the hand got me without me jumpslashing first. This caused a 4 cycle Dead Hand which costs about 11 seconds. I got vine clip 2nd try which is average. Just got bombchus after that and left the Well. The 2nd half of cucco collecting went pretty good. Nothing really to say about it. Getting into the Shadow Temple early went nice and fast. I used pause buffering because the teleport is really hard and sometimes random. Shadow Temple went really well. I 2 cycled the Dead Hand which made up the time from the 1st one. Deathwarped out of the Shadow Temple using a
bombchu. The second time in Hyrule Field went well. I jumped onto the bridge while it was going up. In market I glitch into the shop, then DoT skip which took me two tries.
Reverse DoT skip took me a little longer than I would have liked. No big deal though. Got the Egg and went to steal the fishing rod. Traded for Cojiro and RBAd bomb bag and quiver. I got bomb drops from Dampé's grave. I lost a little bit of time trying to get a bomb drop from grass which it didn't give me. In Hyrule Field, the megaflip trick to get an HESS didn't work for me. I just did a normal superslide after that which took me two tries. Got the pressure jump 2nd try also. Traded some and got the Odd Potion. This time I get the HESS, but the angle was terribad so I had to stop and do a regular superslide. Pressure jump 1st try. Got the saw. Had a little bad luck climbing the wall to get the magic. Went back to Temple of Time. Got the superslide to Gerudo Valley. Missed 1 superslide over the bridge. RBAd the Medallions so I can get the Light Arrows. Got the light arrows and went to Ganon's Castle. All the fights went well especially Ganondorf. I 1 cycled him which isn't easy to do especially in Single Segment. Fight went well after that. I used 1 Light Arrow on Ganon because I was running towards him anyway so I just fired."
