The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages - Part 7 - Moosh and Ricky
One of the more interesting mechanics in the two Oracle games is the animal buddies! Two of them we will see in this very episode. Moosh we already met at the end of the previous episode. And today we will get introduced to Ricky. We're going to the help of both of them to be able to get ourselves to Crescent Island what is still our goal of course.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages is one of the two parts that make up the 'Oracle games' within the Zelda series. It was produced alongside The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and they were released at the same time. There is even a special link and password system that can connect the two games to find exclusive secrets in both games and even connect the stories of the two games into one. There is even a special secret ending if you manage to complete both games with this linking system. A unique and very original concept that makes both of these games worth going through. For my Let's Play I'll be playing The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages first without linking, and when completed use its link to play The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons to create the link in the story. In the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Link is being sent by the Triforce to Labrynna. There he finds the singer Nayru, who turns out to be the Oracle of Ages, the controller of time! Then Veran, the sorceress of evil, reveals herself and takes over Nayru's body, transporting herself four hundred years into the past where she plans to alter the fate of the present. Link then will travel through time as he battles through nine different dungeons along his quest to defeat Veran. Link needs to travel back and forth between the past and present on his way to saving the land of Labrynna, and rescue Nayru, the Oracle of Ages.
