The Legend of Zelda: Parallel Worlds was previously known as the Tower of the Triforce, and Euclid released a demo of it back in 2003. It was later renamed Parallel Worlds when SePH joined the project. Parallel Worlds features brand new overworlds, dungeons and an unlockable 2nd Quest, but it is also known for its insane difficulty (repetitive miniboss battles, tedious puzzles, swordless guardhouse playthrough). Parallel Worlds v2.0 was to feature redesigned dungeons and a new guardhouse, but this was unfortunately abandoned by SePH. However, in 2016 (10 years after its original release), qwertymodo released Parallel Worlds v1.2, which features MSU-1 audio, bugfixes, and various quality of life improvements (among them is the ability to backtrack from the Parallel Tower Big Chest Key). Unfortunately, it also had some new bugs which were later fixed by PuzzleDude. The Lost Woods combination puzzle in version 1.2 was also changed to Right, Up, Right, and Down.
Also in 2012, PuzzleDude released Parallel Remodel, a severely dumbed-down fork of the original PW that minimizes backtracking in addition to removing bomb-jumping and repetitive semi-bosses. It is true that these changes are beneficial to players who gave up on the original Parallel Worlds, however; the new dungeon designs are way too linear, and the difficulty levels are inconsistent. To unlock the 2nd Quest, collect all seven Mysterious Tablets from the Dark World dungeons and go defeat Ganon on top of the Parallel Tower. A secret passcode is then given to you during the ending sequence.
Once again, this walkthrough features enhanced audio. I used my own Four Swords Adventures/Sound and Drama soundpack instead of using qwertymodo's ALBW-inspired soundpack that was originally included with the bps patch for PW.
