Next on the list of games to play: A game that I finally finished for the first time in 2022 and it became one of my top 5 favorites in the series. It was overly ambitious as the 25th anniversary of the series and it is not a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination, but what we got was definitely a lot of fun to play. And, just like in 2022, this game was the one of the list I was looking most forward to doing a 100% playthrough.
Set at the start of the Zelda Timeline, Link and Zelda and the rest of the cast are living on a floating island in the sky known as Skyloft. The call of the hero hits Link and Zelda as the surface has other plans for the two of them. Using the Goddess Sword and the spirit that lives inside, Fi, Link travels to the surface to find Zelda and rescue her. But along the way, he finds that evil is afoot and he must do the Zelda thing and save the day.
