The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword: Ancient Cistern Dungeon Part 1 (Blind Run)
Just the first few minutes of me getting through the Ancient Cistern. When it comes to making full playthroughs, I handle games like this a bit differently when it comes to recording with Dazzle.
In this case, however, I've decided to cover just about the entirety of this dungeon, starting with this video and having others follow behind.
It wasn't that rough in these first few minutes. I guessed that four way puzzle all by myself. It's sometimes harder to stab than it should be, though. I should rearrange where I am when I do that.
Eventually, Link ends up against the master of the Stalfos: The Stalmaster. He wields four weapons instead of two, and he has better armor. Like before, taking him down involves striking him at a spot he doesn't cover with his blades. Too bad those weapons aren't all four swords. One of them is an axe. All of this covered once again by awesome orchestrated music.
Notice how he gets faster at retaliating as Link cuts him down to size. He deflects Link's attack, dodge quickly!
Defeating him allows Link into a room with a treasure chest containing the Whip. Common sense tells me that this Whip will not only be used to solve certain puzzles, but also to help fight the main boss of this dungeon.
From what I've heard and read, this is the best Water Dungeon of all 3D Zeldas, so far. A huge cut above the rest. While I STILL need to playthrough the other 3D Zeldas besides Twilight Princess(which I already beat), I'm very well aware of how badly designed Ocarina of Time's Water Dungeon is.
Anyway, back to this one. So far, besides the water theme, there seems to be a bit of Buddhist imagery and architecture. I know the reason for that, but I'll probably cover it in a different video.
