Hello, in todays video we build the Lego Ideas Treehouse set #21318 that is 3.036 pieces! We begin this video with a reflection of a simpler time when I was a kid wanting a secret treehouse or fort growing up. After the brief reflection, we begin to discuss the set. The unboxing was sadly interrupted by a good half of the bags being placed inside a internal box. But once that box was empty we could see that this build was 19 bags in total. We go through the instruction booklet to set the perspective on build size. Then I sort the bags into my handy bin as we enter the timelapse. The timelapse is fairly long as this is a good sized build. Once we are built, we review. The overall detail is really great. The hidden treasure for the children minifigs are an excellent touch, and so are the minifig parents enjoying lunch. The tree details are done really well. I couldn't decide between Autumn leaves or Spring leaves so I did both to show a changing season. I did have to remove some branches to get a deeper look inside the cabins. But the cabins show three areas. The main room, the kids room, and a bathroom. Each having great details in each. Such as bunk beds for the kids, or a toilet and shower for the family. I liked this build as much as I didn't sadly. Something with it wouldn't sit right with me. But I am very happy to have it in my collection for my town or "Why Not"!
