The LETHAL RESONANCE Mod makes Lethal Company even SCARIER - Vanilla 2.0 Modpack Showcase
850I found some mods that tweak Lethal Company's vanilla gameplay without deviating too far from what makes the game so great, and the resulting modpack was immersive, thrilling, and some of the most fun I've had with the game to date.
A big part of that is thanks to Lethal Resonance, which added and tweaked hundreds of audio cues in the game that removed the comfortable certainty that veteran players have when navigating the moons, and replaced it with the closest feeling these players can get to playing the game for the first time again.
I took this concept further by adding Uncertain Company to the game, which tweaks a lot of the buying and selling numbers for store items, moons and scrap and also hides the moon weathers, to make sure that no matter how much experience you have in the game, you'll never know what to expect upon landing on each moon and whether or not the company will be satisfied with your performance.
I also added mods that tweak the AI for the vanilla monsters, with special attention to the masked and the bracken to really throw a group for a loop when playing with this modpack.
This video showcases my first playthrough on this modpack with @nicofloflolive , where we tried to visit every moon in order per regular ironman challenge rules.
