This video began its life as a comparison between Western and Japanese video game music, but as I got farther and farther into the script, I realized there was something more I could dig into. And, as a result, I'm not sure if the title of the video is 100% accurate, but I honestly had no idea what to call this thing.

Join me as I not only compare the two regional styles of video game music, but also the two regional styles of genre and how music affects our perception of the games we play.
