While the coronavirus pandemic has impacted everyone, it's been a double whammy for women. Not only are they reeling under increased household work, with their children and husbands now at home 24x7. They are now also subjected to more violence and abuse at home. Cases of rape, molestation, domestic violence, dowry abuse, physical and sexual violence have risen quite sharply.
