35,000I feel it's because #Loki represents the smart yet unpopular kid in school coming up against the big strong but ultimately stupid jock; Thor. Loki is playful but also well spoken, sharp as a blade, quick to react, funny; a constant glint of intelligence in his eye. He makes a fool of Thor. I think a lot of us can relate to that and a lot of us who were smart, yet disliked, in school have probably felt villainous at times and perhaps even plotted for evil things to happen in the privacy of our imagination. We can empathise with the "broken" aspect of Loki and secretly applaud him for standing up to and embarrassing Thor in the way we never did to our bullies. Thor is a good guy, sure....but it's pretty bloody easy being the good guy when you are tall, blonde, built like a girls wet dream, rich and oh yeah, blessed with god like strength. Loki is all the charm and intelligence that should be applauded, and all the hurt and rage that comes from that not being the case. #LokiLove #PJExplained
