Darkest Dungeon was developed by Red Hook and published by Merge Games. It was first released in January, 2016 and has a few DLC available. The DLC offers a great variety of game-play options nonetheless. You control a party of heroes, explore the grounds of your ancestor's estate, rebuild the hamlet your family once presided over and prepare to delve into the darkest dungeon! Death is permanent and the denizens of the estate are merciless, only the strong may survive but to survive can be a fate worse than death. Stress, phobias, and disease run rampant and gnaw away your heroes from within even as they are assailed from without. Can you survive?
