Gran wants a pet, so She and Chip go down to the pet store with Floppy to choose one. Gran spots a snake, however Chip is rather reluctant about Her buying as it's not as sweet and cuddly as a little kitten or a puppy. and Floppy wishes that She'd choose a pet without fangs. But just as He thinks that, the magic key starts to glow and the three of them are off on another adventure. This time, they find themselves at a cottage where a woman called Mrs. Brenda Barking runs an animal rescue center there. She also has two puppies called Tom and Dick who may look really cute, but they're actually not when poor Floppy is left alone with them...
