829Forty percent of respondents in a new poll said they don’t believe the summarized findings of special counsel Robert Mueller’s now-concluded investigation cleared President Trump.
Almost three in 10 – or 29 percent – said in the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday that they believe Trump has been cleared of wrongdoing. Attorney General William Barr last weekend reported to the Congress that Mueller did not find evidence that Trump’s campaign did not conclude Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia.
