The Mediocre Zone LP | MindsEye [2025] and the TechDemo SinglePlayer Mode ended [p8 of 8]
3and game is done ...13-14h on Easy (from the insanity later on its really a 30 to 40h on Normal) near the end you get a BFG with unlimited ammo so you go loco at anything... What is MindsEye , Roblox for Adults (its live service thing that is dead with only 40 players online... don't have hopes for it to be resurrected since BARB HR was at fault here ) with a build mode when your Online ... that has this Little Big Planet thing , and a FreeRoam mode when you can be anyone and like in GTAIII explore the city and its Side Mission ... that feels kinda useless with no Big OPEN WORLD MAP ... but they did a dirty easy fix the Build menu ... the thing is , MindsEye was always to be a TECH DEMO what you can do in EVERYWHERE editor ... that somehow got lost in translation and IO Publisher is at fault here , since they PR it and Pushed it in this state : "The SP is ready . PUSH IT to RECUPERATE MONEY . Multiplayer EVERYWHERE Live Service will be added Later... when we get payed" ...end result you see here ... a XBox360 Design wise TPS with LOD\RAM Allocation issues\Streaming ONLY IF YOU PLAY IN THE SP MODE , wtf??? IN Freeroam the game is fluid asf ???!!!! Insanity , making you double check your brain ... so what is the story of MindsEye ... Sliders but from Army POV that wants tech ...ends with no end aka it goes into the Free Roam Mode to make you beat the side missions as a new character... on my scale its 3,5/5 ... its got visuals but when hey suddenly push a model outside the game crashes ... every time on your save ... but the weird thing is , not in the Freeroam mode but only in the Offline SP ... lets hope they make few more patches , even remove the silly Online check for the Build Mode ... on to the next games that where ended in the same f time ...
