The Mediocre Zone | We Happy Few (2018) a AAA indie that went publisher and betrayed theirs backers
1... not to mention they did not knew what this game should be ... it started out as a random generated Sandbox Survival game with horrible fake timers for Water , Food and Joy ... and your patience to uninstall this crap ... but when that craze stopped and those games (thank god) became a obscurity... then after more redesigns it became a Quest RPG game, with survival crafting removed ... only the bare minimum was left... making it a Bioshock Knock-off
all this powered by a FMV TV host and this 70s Groovy love vibe ... and people taking drugs to fake reality surrounding them ... about a person that suddenly detoxes themselves into reality ... and must fight .... to find his brother ... so progressive ... so meh... so awful ... with a story hook done wrong ...
So let me get this straight they made a fantastic world (on Unreal 4) ... nice lore ...great assets too ... and the only thing they used ....from all this , was the JOY DETOX and i MUST FIND MY BROTHER to PR this game .... Why not promote this game from its lore this game created : Germans won the WW2 ... they destroyed half of Great Britain ... relocated all kids from this country in 1943, to brainwash them for theirs army ... those that where left , where fed with a mind altering drug called "JOY" ... that also sterilises them ... slowly experimenting on the whole Great Britain nation, with a BIG BROTHER over them... its now 1964 nearly all of the populous is under JOY , living inside theirs own world ... on the ruins of Great Britain , as German war machine guinea pigs , to be experiment on ... from weapons to drugs ... can you escape from it
NO... no no no, lets make it about ... I MUST FIDZ MY BOTHERZZZ *facepalm* ... graphics alone a game do not make, but its story hooks that push you though it ... even if its a bad product , people will play on if they are hooked on the story progression ... that this game lacks hard ...
PS.I am no writing about how they betrayed theirs backers because all gaming media covered it already ... how from a Indie backed from peoples money they became a publishers b@#$...
