GamerU back again with another guide for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot and today we're going to look into some of the more advanced build paths of The Knight. The Knight, as previously explained our other guide, is the tankiest class in the game. And for good reason! He has to launch in head first to battle to vanquish his foes, but thankfully he has lots of tools at his disposal to do so successfully.
For now, we're going to be going over two different builds. The first build that I'll be calling “The Smash and Grab” will use a combination of his high mobility and high single damage output abilities to take out resources and clear a level with little difficulty. The point of the “Smash and Grab” is to clear out castles as fast as possible and kill any and all necessary foes, while bypassing the others. The bread and butter of this kind of build is having a weapon with the ability to Crowd Control opponents on critical hit chance and having Charge as your right mouse click ability. This means that you're speeding through levels and gaining mana when you do so, while constantly swinging your sword to leave them stunned in place. This build benefits from having at least two abilities from Combat Technique on your bar, I'm using Jab and Punt for their high single damage output. I've also added Slap Trap from the Dragon's Fire tree to get rid of pesky traps along the way. Remember, this build isn't there for boss fights, but to get in, take the gold and get out. If you want to have the best Kill Them All kind of build, I'd advise using what I call the Skirmisher build.
The Skirmisher leans on Shielding Strike and Lashing Flames to combo with one another to give you a super shield that can protect you when you rush head first into battle. Bringing King Dragon Slash or Flame Coat makes you a walking beacon of damage after you've successfully armored up. This build is all about clearing every inch of a room and when you get used to the combos can be done so with incredible ease. These are just two builds available to the Knight class, but experiment with them and see what works best for you. That's all for GamerU for now, check back in later for more guides!
