The Most Annoying Boss!! - Monster Train Daily Challenge Solution 06/18/2020
So for this challenge I had to try it a couple of times. I lost the first time because I couldn’t deal with the Crystalcloak, or more commonly known as the stealth boss. I didn’t have enough units to tank or do enough damage. So what I believe is that unless you are doing an Incant build, which is a single floor build, you need at least two floors of units to survive the middle fights. And this strategy applies to the Covenant Ranks too. Also, something to note is that Holdover and Endless are traps you want to avoid. Having too many Holdover or Endless cards can really limit your next draw. With an already limited draw, you want to keep on drawing new cards than the same ones over and over again. Even though I said that, having one or two key cards to Holdover or Endless is still very good. Just don’t have too many.
Disclaimer:
In the daily challenges for Monster Train, everyone gets to play on the same map. That means cards at end of fights, clan banner choices and merchant upgrades are all the same. The only difference that can happen is in some cavern events that give you a random card that you can get.
So, despite everything being the same, your choices and how you decide to play the game really makes or breaks a run. This video, is only one of many possible solutions that you can play to win this daily challenge. If you want to experience the run first yourself, consider playing the challenge first then come back to this video. Otherwise, enjoy!
