The Most Effective Portal Trap [Tutorial]

Heyo! I'm back with a tutorial on how to make a portal trap in Minecraft.
What are portal traps? They're traps you put around a portal so if someone else comes through your portal, they'll die. You usually make them in gamemodes like UHC (www.reddit.com/r/ultrahardcore), Survival Games, or other survival based PVP games.

What you will need:
-A Nether Portal (10 obsidian and 1 flint and steel)
-2 Lava Buckets
-Diamond Pickaxe (this will save you 16 minutes because destroying an obsiidian block with an iron pick will take 4 minutes, according to the Wiki)

When do you want to build this trap?
Once you first go to the nether, you'd want to trap it. Go ahead and do your thing, get your blaze rods. Once you're ready to go back to the overworld, take away the lava and go on through.
You should end up in the same portal you came in from. Sadly, you can't trap the nether portal that's in the Nether from the overworld (unless you set up some complex dispenser machinery).
You could possibly bring to the nether some additional 10 obsidian to make a hidden portal close by, which might connect your overworld portal, but may also connect the overworld portal to your non-trapped nether portal...
When you're back in the overworld, you can build the trap again, in case someone goes through your nether portal and ends up coming out through your overworld portal, but it is somewhat easier to escape since you can get water buckets.
