The Mothership Zeta Problem (and why the Zetans kinda suck)
On August 3rd, 2009, Bethesda Game Studios released their fifth and final add-on for their hit open-world roleplaying game, Fallout 3. This DLC was called Mothership Zeta.
But with Mothership Zeta came a unique problem that affected players, developers, writers, and fans: the Zetan Aliens were now canon. This video goes over why I think the canonization of aliens matters and why it can potentially lead to problems down the line. Is this video 14 years late? Yes. Is it still relevant? I think so. Did you only make this video to use that silly dialogue at the end? Maybe.
