Let's get hoity-toity and intellectual for a bit! The great works of literature have all been gathered into a canon, where the best and most formative pieces can be presented to students to ensure they can gain a good grasp of the artform. (Well, "best" and "most formative" can be debated, I suppose...) So why don't we create our own canon for JRPGs? In this first video, we'll go through the first three console generations and define THE most important JRPGs in each.
