797The metallic machines are more than mere robotic husks in risk of rain. They hold fascinating stories that have made the risk of rain universe far more intriguing! While the question of "what happens when robots feel" is hardly revolutionary, it is still a topic that can be very interesting given a good backdrop. Especially considering that the real main protagonist of the risk of rain universe is the planet, and that is the thing we are trying to learn about. The best thing is how the risk of rain world is rich in robots, yet no one shares the same story... for now.

The main menu theme is especially important for one who spends a lot of time in the logbooks. While it is very good, it does lack the element of uneasiness that the first game had, which complimented many of the logs eerily well.
