33The year and a half long drama surrounding Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard King is FINALLY seemingly at its end, as the FTC lost their court battle to block the deal from proceeding. While it is not yet officially official, the guys take stock of what this means for Xbox, PlayStation, and video games as a whole moving forward. On the heels of their win in court, Xbox also announced the death of Xbox Live Gold and its rebranding as Game Pass Core. (Which is definitely one way to increase Game Pass' subscription numbers...)
