26The NEW Syntax Guns are ALL Good in Payday 3 #shorts. The First Payday 3 DLC is upon us with a new map, masks, and most importantly, 3 new guns. The first is the FSA, a semi-auto shotgun that you can really spam the heck out of and shred dozers. And best of all, it’s mag-fed, so it’s not nearly as annoying as the other shotguns to reload. However, this also means that ammo is a problem as well as range. So pair it up with a revolver to compensate. It also still struggles with shields like other shotguns, but it’s better because you can spam it.
The second is the WAR, an SMG that feels like it’s between an SMG and an Assault Rifle. It has a “best of both worlds” feel of ammo pickup, damage, hip-fire accuracy, and control. And so it handles moving quickly and holding cover. You can go for more controlled headshots or spray into the body. This one is definitely my favorite so far, but still doesn’t compare to the Scar. Ooooo, that rhymed.
And finally, the new FLR, a semi-auto DMR with low damage, but high mag, fire rate, and ammo pick up. Even more fire rate than the CAR-4, an automatic weapon. Initially, I didn't like this weapon because I used it more like the EBR. But because it can't 1 shot headshot light swats, it should be used more like a long ranged pistol/CAR-4 hybrid. Spam the heck out it toward enemies and go for about half headshots like you would with an assault rifle.
