In 1985, The Return of the Living Dead rewrote every rule horror fans thought they knew. Gone were Romero’s slow, brain-shot zombies. In their place came something far worse: Trioxin zombies — the unkillable dead. This video explores the terrifying mythology behind 245 Trioxin, the chemical accident that cursed an entire world. Unlike Romero’s creatures, Trioxin zombies can’t be stopped by destroying the brain. Burn them, and the gas only spreads. Dismember them, and each piece still fights. Worst of all, they’re conscious of their own decay, driven by unbearable pain that only eating brains can relieve. From the medical supply warehouse to the mortuary, from rain-soaked graves to a nuclear strike, this nightmare never ends. Once Trioxin escapes, there’s no stopping the outbreak.
