Hey look at that, 235 videos in and I swore in one finally.
Don't get comfortable with it though, Spooloweegeentober is the only time where I'll do that if it's in the story, as to not edit the original for viewing pleasure.
This differs with the Weegee Archives because that's more so my reaction to stories than trying to read them and I don't mind skipping any nsfw or substituting a swear word.
And if you were wondering, yes, it feels weird to swear as someone who never swears, I think I'll stick to "dingus" and "heck" and "frick" and stuff more like that lol.

Day 4, story number 28, the first "medium length one.
I like to split Creepypastas in different categories.
With small being 1-10 minutes, medium being from 10-40 minutes, and long ones being 1 hour and up.
This is also the first story to derive from r/nosleep, a reddit community dedicated to more modern Creepypastas.

The Old Highway Through Windermoore is one of, if not, the newest on the list, and marks itself well as being number 28.
For starters, I'll discuss the positives and things I enjoyed.

I'd place this above "Gateway of the Mind" for a single reason, and it's also probably the only reason as to why this story makes my list, and that's the exclusion of God.
Now it'd be cliché, but easy for the author to go "God's terror and might was shown to some which drove them mad," but instead opted for something fairly original, somehow.
You'd think that "They made concentrated bad" would be the premise for many, but in this one it isn't.
The description of the different sized eyes and the reveal that they're actually her pupils is honestly pretty creepy, and I have a fear of things that I can't see that I know are chasing me, so there's that too.

The big thing I dislike about this story however is the ending seemed a little too full of exposition, I think I would have preferred a more vague answer without the guy telling the main character the whole truth, or maybe for the driver to not even work at the lab.
With all that being said, this story just ranks below the other 27 because I just think they're better, which doesn't dissuade my positive thoughts of this story, I still love it and it remains my 28th favorite Creepypasta.
