I was counting down the days to this after the first part :) Chapter 2 of Bendy And The Ink Machine is finally out though and there's a lot in it. We're down in the basement place from the end of the last episode and we have our axe still, other than that, it's all mysteries!
This sort of basement level of the structure seems to have been where the majority of the work was done. We're introduced/reintroduced to Sammy Lawrence the music director/songwriter, Wally the ?????, Susie the creator or perhaps just voice of the new "Alice Angel" character and Joey Drew the boss.
First up we need to find three switches to raise/open the gate, they're kind of well hidden! Next up is kind of the meat of the chapter in the form of a puzzle revolving around playing musical instruments in order with the projector turned on in the Recording room. For me it was violin, bass fiddle, drum then violin again but it seems to change for each person :) We need to get through various doors, find a key in the bin and turn off the ink flow in Sammy's office so we can get down the stairs. On top of that, there's scary little ink monsters now! :O We're not alone either ... there's someone else down here. It turns out to be Sammy who tries to sacrifice us to Bendy but it goes a little tits up for him :( So bendy kills Sammy seemingly then we have to run only to run into Goofy/Boris ....... whose side is he on?!

I really liked this second chapter/episode. The puzzles weren't so sort of "natural" and sensible this time, a bit too vague and unclear for me but the addition of ink monsters, combat and other characters getting more fleshed out nailed it. Great to see the competition entries in there! Still that atmosphere and charm too :)
