The new Next gen age has come ... with a curse , the more shit you add on screen , the more polygons , more detailed textures , the more effects you add ... the more your game will be in a development cycle ...
In that state you have FEAR as a developer ... if XYZ next company will release a similar game like this and you will be called out as a poser... a fine example of it is Infamous Vs Prototype , both games with similar gameplay ... but one was build on a Hulk engine with similar design (Prototype) , the other build on a comic book story line about super-humans X-men like ...
So you have to rush things ... and release games faster to sell your product , to make money that would cover your costs ... introducing a game that has only a Single Player Story line that's from 5-6h long ...Reviewers call it a rental , i call it a BUY (if this game will be half its price)... why ?
How long was Uncharted 1 , the same length ... and it was praised ...people get spoiled right now... you get a product that pushed the PS4 to its brink ... that's why the black bars ... it has picture perfect visual quality... at the expense of game length and black bars
So in plain words what is this game in bullet points :
1.Its a Cover Shooter with QTE ... the thing was people bitch it was presented different
game length 5 to 6 hours ... but the game is so fun you don't feel that time ... when you play it your so pulled in, you feel like it was only 2-3h and then look at the clock and ... your shocked
2.Only single player
3.Picture perfect razor sharp quality but at the cost of Black Bars (can be disabled if you use your HDTV controls and stretch the picture)
4.Story line taken from the movie UnderWorld (Vampires Vs Werewolves and a human element that uncovers this fight) but placed in Victorian times with a Tesla inventions spin
5.Game ending is open to a possible sequel ... If it will come
6.This game also has Picture Mode that lets you explore all maps and see all models ... pure marvel what quality they pushed for this game
PS. The image is blurred in some sections since this game uses Movie Noise with massive amount of other Custom FOV/Blur to fake quality and YT does not like that and removes this Noise creating those washed out images ...
