This is video #056 in my gameplay series of The Outer Worlds for the Sony PlayStation 4. This is video 3 covering "Murder on Eridanos". The Outer Worlds is rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language.

The party is currently working on "Murder on Eridanos", the second DLC expansion. Previously, they explored the Grand Colonial Hotel. In the Grand Colonial Guest Suites on the VIP Guest Floor, they interviewed Spencer Woolrich, a person of interest in the murder of Halcyon Helen. They also interviewed Burbage-3001, an automechanical actor, and Zeke Hannigan, a tossball player with the Rizzo's Rangers. In "Black Hole" Bertie's room, they found evidence that updated the main quest "Prince of Tossball". The next objective is to travel to the meeting spot at the Pilothouse east of the hotel. The party also explored the lower levels of the hotel and talked to Constable Keene a little more. They even began checking out the employee quarters on floor 1/3. Now, the party will finish exploring the hotel's employee quarters and then check out the area surrounding the hotel.

Grand Colonial Hotel:

The party resumes in the lobby of the Grand Colonial Hotel. They find a "Prophet of Profitability Flyer" near the reception desk.

In the storage room near the reception desk, they find a Rizzo's Rangers Tosser Uniform.

There is another "Broken Elevator Notice" near the stairway leading down to the employee quarters.

The party descends to floor 1/3. They go past the employee lounge to the the employee quarters. Not very appealing. There are even Rabid Sprats around!

In Room A1, they find "Work IDs of Helen's Sidekicks" on the floor. On the shelf, they find "The Spectacular and Thrilling and Great Adventures of Alain Norville and Halcyon Helen, Ch. 45/137". Must be Bellhop Norville's quarters.

The party will find the keycard for Room A2 during a later quest. As they pass the door to Room A3, they hear a voice from within, but the front door will not open.

Room A4 has a safe that requires Lockpicking 65.

Along the B-series hallway, the party uses a crate to hop into Room A3. On the floor near the door, they find a "Hastily-Written Note". On the body of the Half-Eaten Bellhop, they find the Bust Ambulation Cap". Next to her, they find the phonograph "Malfunctioning Audio Log". Across from her, they find the "Gnawed Arm". Poor woman. Did no one think to check on her? On a shelf near the door, there is a bin requiring Lockpicking 65.

Room B4 contains a few random goodies.

The door to Room B3 requires Lockpicking 65. Inside, the party finds a "Handwritten Note" on the desk. With the Discrepancy Amplifier, they analyze a fridge with frozen food items near the door. The safe is unlocked.

In Room B2, the party examines the "Removed Wall Panel". Then, they duck through the open space in the wall to Room B1, whose front door is locked.

In B1, they find ... a Parasite Spawnling? Disgusting! They also find the Thunderclap and some Spectrum Brown. The party found the Room B1 Keycard in the storage room near the employee lounge, so they unlock the door to exit.

At the eastern end of the employee quarters, the party finds an engineering room. The Engineering Terminal requires Hack 105 to operate. The party finds a notice addressed to one Robert Motts. They access the door controls and unlock Room C2. The safe in the corner requires Lockpicking 65.

In Room C1, a bin on a shelf requires Lockpicking 45 to open.

In Room C2, the party finds a Grand Colonial Hotel Uniform. Next to it, they find the "Engineer's Final Note".

The party crawls through an opening in the wall to a corridor to the south. There, they find a Sprat of Unusual Size (S.O.U.S.). They take it out. There are a couple of unfortunate victims nearby.

At the other end of this hall, the party crawls into Room C3. Just a few things to find in here.

The door to Room C4 requires Lockpicking 65 to open. At least one of the occupants is likely a tossball fan.

The party goes back up to floor 2/3. Near the elevators, they talk to Bellhop Norville about his fan-fiction. They also sell some loot to a vending machine.

The party heads out the front door to Eridanos.

Eridanos (time 25:24):

Now, the party will begin exploring the Eridanos Atmospheric Complex. They will start with the "island" that the hotel is on.

On the northern side of the hotel, some Raptidons attack from the Wilderness Exploitation Reserve. After defeating them, the party talks to the SLUG Marksman. Someone should be on duty to see beasts like that coming. The marksman suggests talking to Ms. Vargas at the luxury pad.
