The party is currently working on "Murder on Eridanos", the second DLC expansion. Previously, they wrapped up Lillie Vargas's side quest "Strange Disappearance of a Watchman" and learned the strange fate of Evan O'Connell. Then, they journeyed east to the Phaeton Pilothouse complex. In the Meteorological Control Station, they found clues for the main quest "Prince of Tossball". One of those clues was the body of the Rizzo's Rangers mascot. The next objective will be at Piraeus Spaceport, but the spaceport will be on lockdown until the party has investigated Purpleberry Orchards. Now, the party will explore the Phaeton Pilothouse itself and carry out a faction quest and a task.
Unreliable:
The party resumes aboard the Unreliable. Davilas fast-travels to the Pilothouse on the eastern island with Parvati and Vicar Max.
Eridanos (time 1:28):
Upon arrival, the party enters the Navigation Deck of the Pilothouse.
Pilothouse (time 2:16):
The party starts on floor 5/5, the Upper Navigation Deck. They go downstairs to floor 4/5, a museum on the Lower Navigation Deck.
In the northwest of floor 4/5, they talk to Thelbert Wolcott. He is working on a trap to keep pterorays out of Eridanos's engines. The party agrees to help. This starts the task quest "The Pteroray Trap". It starts with a few objectives: check Thelbert's terminal, find automech scrap, and find a half-melted battery.
The party checks out the museum. In the east, they find the "Purpleberry Trees" exhibit. The "Authentic Rizzo's Armor" exhibit is in the southeast. The "Rizzo's Rangers" exhibit is a short distance west of the Rizzo's Armor exhibit. The party finds the "Gigantaur (Stunt Double #347)" exhibit a little farther to the west.
In the southwest, the party finds the Half-Melted Battery on a shelf. This concludes the objective to find a half-melted battery for "The Pteroray Trap".
Upstairs on floor 5/5, the party goes north into the navigation deck. They use Wolcott's terminal in the west and view both messages. This concludes the objective to check Thelbert's terminal for "The Pteroray Trap". A couple of new objectives are added: find vending machine power cables and find greasy sporknforks. The party already found the Vending Machine Power Cables in the Meteorological Control Station nearby, so the objective to find vending machine power cables is automatically concluded.
On the raised deck in the north, the party goes down to the lower deck a little father north. On a table, they find and pick up the SporknForks. This concludes the objective to find greasy sporknforks for "The Pteroray Trap".
The party heads outside.
Eridanos (time 15:22):
The party explores the Pilothouse's island a little bit. The Meteorological Control Station is a little bit southwest of the Pilothouse. It is there that the party found the Vending Machine Power Cables for "The Pteroray Trap".
In the grass a short way north of the Meteorological Control Station, the party finds and picks up the Automech Scrap. This concludes the objective to find automech scrap for "The Pteroray Trap". The party has found all the listed items, so the next objective is to give the parts to Thelbert.
On the ground near the bridge in the western part of the island, the party finds the Engineer Camp point of interest. There is a large bin that requires Lockpicking 105 here.
Northeast of the Engineer Camp, the party finds the Exterior Engine point of interest.
The party reenters the Navigation Deck of the Pilothouse.
Pilothouse (time 21:14):
The party goes down to floor 4/5. They to Thelbert Wolcott again and give him the items they have found. This concludes the objective to give the parts to Thelbert for "The Pteroray Trap". He rewards them with 750 bits. However, he adds a new objective: find a pinwheel.
Up on floor 5/5, the party uses Phaeton, the flight control system. Phaeton needs help realigning its gyroscope. This starts the faction quest "PHAETON's Monster". The first objective is to proceed to Engineering. Phaeton unlocks an elevator on floor 4/5.
For now, the party leaves the Pilothouse.
Eridanos (time 27:41):
At the Engineer Camp on the ground west of the Pilothouse, the party finds and picks up the Pinwheel. This concludes the objective to find a pinwheel for "The Pteroray Trap". The next objective is to return to Thelbert.
The party reenters the Navigation Deck of the Pilothouse.
