The Overhyping of Oshi no Ko Doesn't Bode Well for This 1/7 Scale Figure of Ai
The number of new anime figures on preorder this week isn't high, but there is definitely no shortage of great options. Starting off with the surprise of the week - Furyu is feeling generous with the pricing of their new Megumin figure, which is definitely the best of the week. I mean. it's really reasonable for once. Meanwhile Wing has a very detailed figure of ilya from Princess Connect Re:Dive, so detailed that my eyes hurt when I look at her. One of the first Bridget scale figures from Guilty Gear is up for preorder this week too, courtesy of Spiritale.
However, one of the trending topics of anime this past week has to be Oshi no Ko, as it took the anime rankings by storm. That, is actually not very good news for Kadokawa or KDcolle's 1/7 scale figure of Ai. It is seasonal anime after all, one that is so overhyped that you'd wonder how many people would still remember the characters once the series ends.
Megumin is definitely the pick of the week. What about you?
