79The PASS is from the album Presto, the 13th Studio Album by RUSH in 1989. Neil said it was one of the toughest songs to write due to the content and seriousness of the topic. I chose this song because our family just lost a dear cousin who took his own life. Obviously I did not choose this song to "show off" my drumming because it is an easy song that only took 2 hours to learn. I chose this song to bring awareness to the Nationwide Hotline that is now in affect since July 16 of 2022. That number is 988...You can CALL or TEXT to reach professional help for FREE!

My story:
Married at 22 years old, 3 kids soon after. Watched the ship sail at a young age, no regrets there, just life choices that we all have to make and hopefully family takes priority. My wife and I are empty nesters now so I feel like it's my time again, you know. Not that I'll ever become a passenger on that Ship that sailed so many years ago but at least it passes by every now and then and I get to wave at all the amazing drummers aboard...stay cool and enjoy doing what you love, even if it's in you drum room at home making YouTube Videos!
