I'm not quite sure what happened here. I reduced settings to the lowest and it seems to have skipped a part of the house? Or maybe I just can't see it with the low detail.

I used to love poking around in this game to see what creepy stuff I could find.

After thinking about it, I believe that reducing the game settings to the minimum allows for you to begin walking while the scenes are loading in. I'm guessing the ability to move is based on scene load and not the arbitrary set timing for fade ins and outs.

So it acts like you're moving in places where it doesn't normally allow character control, and positions you accordingly once they are fully loaded. Probably can get it so that both the gate and the house are much better than this though.
