In STATE OF DECAY 2, the first of the 9 special enclaves is the Pathetic Enclave. This enclave is easy to recognize since its survivors are always unarmed. When trading with them, they will have 0 influence. When inspecting them, they will rarely have a fifth skill, they will have skills that are missing stars, and they usually have reduced health or resistance. On the map, their enclave description says that they are desperate people. This enclave will always ask you for food and only food. Helping them will make them ask to join your community the third time you give them food. If you have 9 survivors in your community, recruiting them will bring you to the maximum of 12 survivors, making them a valuable enclave. If you're looking to get to 12 survivors, these are a better option than the mechanics or alcoholics because they don't have a fifth skill and you can give them any skills you want and leave them at the base for the rest of their lives, where they have a low chance of dying, which is important because they're very weak survivors.
