The Pawn walkthrough/longplay (Apple II - Magnetic Scrolls/Rainbird)
27The Pawn (http://msmemorial.if-legends.org/games.htm/pawn.php) was a text adventure game created by Magnetic Scrolls and published by Rainbird in 1985 for the Apple ][.
Since I have already done a longplay for an Infocom game, this time I decided to play a text adventure game from across the pond. Magnetic Scrolls built a great parser for this game, as demonstrated by the command "PLANT POT PLANT IN PLANT POT WITH TROWEL" used in this game. The Apple ][ version of The Pawn is "unique" because it was released as a text-only adventure, where as both C-64 version and Atari 8-bit version were shipped as graphic adventure games with beautiful images.
