Reality is glitching… and the truth is burning through.

In Part 17 of Inscryption, we press deeper into Botopia, determined to reach the four bosses and unlock the Great Ascending. But PO3’s world isn’t giving up easy.

We fight our way through an area powered by an exploding generator, racing against the clock to refill it before it blows. Beyond that lies the forest — and there, tucked away in a lonely shack, sits a dusty old computer humming in the dark.

And that’s when the screen flickers to life.

Meet The Photographer — a boss who snapshots the board mid-battle, forcing us to rewind time with every click of his ancient camera. It’s a fight for survival against his twisted mechanics, but we manage to take him down.

But then the game pulls us out… back into the real world.

On the desktop, we uncover new videos that spiral the mystery deeper:

The guy behind the Inscryption videos buys more card packs at a garage sale. He calls back the seller’s grandma, who reveals they belonged to her daughter… a woman who worked for the company behind Inscryption… who died alone in a fire at the studio.

Later that night, the creator wakes up terrified, convinced someone’s in his house. He leaves his phone behind… and we catch glimpses of him back at his setup, glitching out, rolling dice on the metal scale from the game — and laughing manically.

Reality and game are blurring together. And this story’s only getting darker.
