The Google Pixel 7a is Google's latest mid-range smartphone, and it comes with a number of new features, including a unique new vibration setting called Adaptive alert vibration.

Adaptive alert vibration reduces the vibration strength of your phone when it's still and the screen is facing up. This means you won't be disturbed by loud vibrations when you're, for example, at a meeting or in bed.

To enable Adaptive alert vibration, go to Settings. Sound & vibration .Vibration & haptics. Toggle on the switch for "Adaptive alert vibration."

Adaptive alert vibration is currently only available on the Pixel 7a, but it's possible it could come to other Pixel phones in the future.
