The Power Pros All Star Break - Let's Play Us SUM MLB Power Pros Double Play Pt. 45
Enter a new world where the entire world is based almost solely on one aspect. Economic, politics, entertainment and more all hinge on one particular thing going well or bad for you: no, it's not Pokémon. It's Baseball. And not just any Baseball. It's MLB Power Pros!
This franchise has been a huge part of my life ever since I first played 2008 when I rented it from Blockbuster back in 2009. Simple controls, a compelling and almost anime-like story mode and fun animations make this one of the most surprisingly entertaining sports video games I've ever played. And so, to honor such a franchise, I will be playing both the original MLB Power Pros game and MLB Power Pros 2008 in a single LP that will help guide us through the Spring and Summer of 2025.
With season mode set for it's endless game loop of trying to win the World Series, it's now time to close the first half of this game off with the same thing that we close the first half of a regular Baseball Season off with: a special All Star Game of 2007's finest players. It's Old vs New in this showdown for the ages. Will the 25 year olds (or younger) prove that the future is coming for these older players? Or will the 35 year olds (or older) prove that with age comes experience and the will to win?!
