The Death Stranding review cycle is underway but this is one of the rare instances where its going to be very hard to use some reviews as buying metrics. Every Death Stranding review will present the same realities as normal reviews, but the problem is, this game may be a bit more constrained by that process. The gameplay videos here are all prerelease and there are no spoilers. This is more of a piece about what it means to go into games like Death Stranding with little to no knowledge of what it actually is and how that impacts the experience. It is worth pointing out that there are some excellent videos already out there that ride the line perfectly that I'll put in the pinned section below.
