[UPDATE 2025-02-25: The 3060 I featured in this livestream went up in price by around 10%, but people are more focused on one-sided online slander than looking at the real situation in other countries.]

Just a few months ago, I was critical of the PlayStation 5 Pro for being $800, when I presented a build that used to cost $1,000 USD back then. Unfortunately, NVIDIA keep creating crisis after crisis, with the 5000 series having power connectors that melt faster than chocolate by design, and someone's RTX 5090 going full Suzuki Bakuhatsu on them. The RTX 3000 and 4000 series are being discontinued, driving up prices for GPUs even more.

With all of these developments, I am starting to reassess whether the PS5 Pro is the safer option for games like Black Myth: Wukong or Monster Hunter: Wilds. These games are known to be heavy, even on GPUs that were traditionally suitable for 1080p gaming.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own a PS5 Pro or an RTX 5000 series GPU, as both of these products are just money pits. This stream is going to be about my own observation about the situation.
