Since Russia is a country that is isolated from the West to a certain degree, a lot of Westerners are interested in what Russian people think. As a result of this, many Russian street interview channels started becoming popular on YouTube, such as 1420 and MoscowStreets. I do personally enjoy a lot of this content, however, I believe that these Russian interviews should be taken with a grain of salt and shouldn't be treated as an actual representation of the public opinion in Russia, since it is a country with a lot of censorship and no free speech. I've already talked about this in my video about if 80% of Russians really support the 'special operation' - polls are not a very reliable source in a dictatorship, and street interviews suffer from the same issue. So, let's talk about censorship and persecution in Russia, as well as discuss the problem with Russian street interviews! Smash like and sub for more thx xoxo
