I describe point 2 because it will be very different.
First the trigger, it is no longer a post force occurring in the air given by the levers but an impulse triggered by
(a) position in the saddle
(b) inclination in the ramp
(c) inclination of the ramp
(d) rear suspension load
for these reasons the "old whip" with crossed levers or the old oppo with the levers on the same side no longer work.
just as exaggerated control of the bike in the air no longer works.
Now we have physics that makes the bike move so it is up to the rider's preparation and position to build the whip first and then unleash it on the launch.
Another big change is the re-entry which is no longer handled by strange forces that make the bike swing but by its rotation speed aligning ( as in reality ) and accompanied by the rider's very limited force.
You will also notice that the rider's force in the air during a normal jump is no longer invasi but only adjusting.
