Time to clear south pass for Ragnar. This time we fight Orcs and Dark Dwarves. We are starting north and our enemies both are starting south. Dark Dwarves west and Orcs east. Using Thallassian Empire as faction could be good idea. Cavaliers and Paladins are very tough and we need tough guys in this battle because Dark Dwarves are dealing serious damage with their siege weapons. On entire mission enemies are fighting each other and we have some time for building up. Orc will try to raid your base sometimes but they must also defend against the Dark Dwarves so their attacks will be weak. Dark Dwarves are much stronger enemy when they build up to Tier 4. Their siege weapons can raze your buildings in seconds and Land Mines could devastate your units. Create bunch of Cavaliers supported by mercenaries. Build some catapults and crush the Orcs first eliminating them from the game. Now attack the Dark Dwarves. Here will be little tougher but your mercenaries will overrun their base. After the battle you can recruit Ragnar to your retinue. He is a dragon and elite unit, his stats are very good and he decimates enemy armies, also he is very expensive. Taking him to battle using Army Points is pointless and hiring him during the battle also will cost much. Now the path to the Wastes lies open to us and finaly we can search for the demon from Sundered Isle.
