The PS3 and PS VITA Stores almost closed! What does that mean?
5Sony decided to shut down the PS3 and PS Vita digital storefronts on PlayStation Network. It wasn't until the fans of these classic consoles made their voices hear that they rolled back this move. But, what does this mean for the future of Sony's digital game landscape? Is the house that Kratos built ready to dismiss the past in order to make way for the next big thing?
In the midst of all this, it was also discovered that the PlayStation 3 has a flaw which may render it unable to play physical or digital games when its clock battery eventually dies. Is the future of gaming poised to leave old games buried? Or, is there a way to keep game archives around while things progress?
