Elemental Gearbolt is a relic of a bygone era, but more than that it's something unique. I got a lot more than I bargained for with this game, and maybe I can convey that a little bit here.

NB: despite showing off the copy I own of this game in the footage, the gameplay here was captured with Duckstation and not on original hardware. This was done because a.) I lack a retrotink and b.) the lightgun inserts a blue flash and playing with a mouse was much more comfortable than dpad for a non-strobe effect set of footage.
